Superintendent Jeffrey D. Hodges was born in Grand
Rapids, Michigan. He has been happily married to
Missionary Virgie Hodges for over twenty-five years and
is the father of five children. In 1974, Supt. Jeffrey
D. Hodges moved to Chicago, and was saved and received
the gift of the Holy Ghost under the pastorate of the
late Bishop Shepard Little. For over twenty years, he
was a faithful, dedicated, and loyal armor bearer for
Bishop Little. Thus upon the demise of his leader, God
saw fit to bestow upon him the honor of serving as the
Pastor of the King of Glory Tabernacle Church of God in
Christ. Supt. Hodges has served this post
whole-heartedly for over ten years. Under his
leadership, the ministry has become “the church that
meets the need” Supt. Jeffrey D. Hodges has instituted
numerous programs and invested in many developmental
projects that will improve the church and community.
Supt. Hodges is a consecrated man of God that can be
found daily praying at 6:30 am. Supt. Jeffrey D. Hodges
fulfills the scripture, Psalms 37:23, “The steps of a
good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in
his way.”
